I’m sorry.. I lied. My previous post dated back at the beginning of the year saying I should post more.. and here we are in October and nothing has been posted.
I have been busy though. I’ve been involved in an open source project called pioneer. It is a open ended space simulator set in the milky way in the 31st century. If you have played previous games such as Frontier: Elite II then it should be rather familiar.
What has my role been with the project? Well since my primary machine is running OSX, and at the time (back in April 2011) the project didn’t have an OSX port, I ported pioneer to OSX. I have also done some tinkering with the engine and testing with the dev team.
You can always download the latest version of pioneer (as of this post, alpha15 was just released) – If you want bleeding edge we also do a nightly dev build.
On a final note, I do intend to write more up on my blog.. not that my ‘promise’ means much.

Happy New Year!
Yes, I’ve been slack and not updating my blog. Looking at the last blog entry that I posted – April 2010, and that was the only post last year. I am REALLY slack.
I intend to post a little more often than once this year. I even have the wordpress app on my iPhone so there really isn’t any excuse now except for my lazyness.
I’m also reshuffling the site around a little, creating a space for my current projects. People seem to be keen on the status of the fish tank, as well as past programming projects I’ve done in the past, as well as current distractions.
Watch this space.. it WILL be updating much sooner than you think….. 
I’ve added a new theme for people who view my site with their iPhone (suprisingly, there are quite a few of you).
It should automatically detect you are on an iPhone and adjust the layout accordingly. For a sneak peak of the iPhone view (for you old fashioned people using big screens) you can see the theme in action in all its glory here.
Of course if you are actually viewing this on an iPhone then you would already be seeing it.
It’s been a long time between posts. I’ve been rather slack in updating my blog.
Hopefully I’ll have some more exciting stuff up soon now that I have a little free time.
I figured that I’d also give the site a new look (the old leopard mac theme was looking a little dated).
I’m also playing around with Unity for a new computer game I’m starting to write (combingin this with blender. Here is a little test to see if it works within wordpress.
